About
Leticia Jean “Tish” Cyrus-Purcell (born May 15, 1967, in Ashland, Kentucky) is an American manager, producer, and entrepreneur. She has steered the global careers of daughters Miley and Noah Cyrus for more than two decades and is president of Hopetown Entertainment, the production banner behind films such as The Last Song, LOL, So Undercover, and music specials including Miley Cyrus Presents Stand By You for Peacock.
Away from the soundstage, Tish’s flair for décor blossomed into the Bravo reality series Cyrus vs Cyrus: Design and Conquer, which she co-hosted with daughter Brandi. The show turned late-night furniture-moving sessions into televised room makeovers and highlighted her warm, down-to-earth style.
Following her August 2023 Malibu wedding to Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell, she now uses the name Cyrus-Purcell and divides her time between Los Angeles and Nashville while developing scripted and unscripted projects that celebrate family, creativity, and good vibes.
Before Fame
Growing up in eastern Kentucky horse country, young Leticia Finley preferred denim over designer labels and spent weekends at local fairs and community gigs. After high school she married drummer Baxter Neal Helson, welcoming Brandi in 1987 and Trace in 1989 while working retail jobs that kept the family afloat.
A move to Tennessee in the early 1990s altered everything. Leticia began dating rising country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and can be spotted line-dancing in his record-breaking “Achy Breaky Heart” video—a first brush with production that hinted at her future behind the camera.
Trivia
- Interior design is her favorite stress-buster; crew members on Cyrus vs Cyrus joked that she “renovates in her sleep.”

Family Life
Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus wed on December 28, 1993, creating a blended household of six kids: Brandi, Trace, Miley, Braison (1994), and Noah (2000), plus Billy Ray’s son Christopher. Farm life outside Nashville eventually gave way to Los Angeles when Hannah Montana took off, yet Sunday sing-alongs remained a staple.
After several separations, Tish filed for divorce in April 2022; the split was finalized the next year. On August 19, 2023, she exchanged vows with Dominic Purcell beside a Malibu pool, with Miley as maid of honor and the entire clan cheering her new chapter.
These days she relishes grandmother duties—especially cuddles with Braison’s son Bear—and still hosts laid-back family dinners where guitars outnumber cell-phones.
